When do the Madarao & Myoko ski resorts open?
We’ve had a few enquiries asking us about when the Madarao and Myoko ski resorts opening dates are for in 2018/19, so here they are!

Madarao Ski Resort Opening Dates 2018/19
We won’t keep you in suspense – Tangram and Madarao Kogen both open on Saturday, December 15th 2018
Myoko Ski Resort Opening Dates 2018/19
Akakura Onsen opens on December 8th. This is an early start again. They must be confident in the medium term forecast!
The always popular Akakura Kanko Resort (aka Akakan) is next in line with lifts that will start turning on December 14th.
Arai Lotte Ski Resort & Ikenotaira throw open their ticket office windows the next day on December 15th.
Lastly, but not least, are Seki Onsen on December 21st & Suginohara on December 22nd.
Please remember that the above are all subject to weather conditions / adequate snow base.
