The lodge is located adjacent to the main base of the ski resort and the Madarao Kogen Hotel. A good variety of restaurants are within very easy walking distance.
Each morning, enjoy a delicious complimentary breakfast in the on-site cafe/restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling windows look across the snow to the lifts — a perfect place to plan your ski day exploring the slopes of Madarao Kogen.

Chill Madarao: Rooms
All of the guest rooms in the lodge are situated on the 2nd floor with views of the ski area or surrounding mountains. Larger than most in Japan, all rooms have TVs with Netflix, plenty of storage, and comfortable western beds. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.

Chill Madarao: Dining & Bar
Breakfast is included in your stay and the lodge dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out across the snow to the lifts. The Chill Bar is open to the public from 3pm for some great aprés ski on-mountain. In addition to a good range of beverages, the bar offers a great selection of snacks and appetisers.
After the day’s skiing, pop in for aprés drinks daily. Perfectly located by Lift No.1, Chill Bar is the prime meeting spot on the mountain with regular aprés specials, happy hours and live music. A great selection of bar food means there’s no need to rush off — sit back, relax, and chill till late.
